What it is
Bout is a word game you play inside a message thread. There is no lobby, no invite flow, and no separate app to open — you tap it from the iMessage app drawer, play your turn, and send it. Your opponent sees the board in the conversation and plays theirs back.
Why
Turn-based games with friends die at the invite step. Every extra tap between “want to play?” and an actual first move loses people. Living inside the thread removes that step entirely: the game is already where the conversation is.
